The HBCU CEI, in this national workforce diversity research project in partnership with the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and BW Research, are seeking to quantify the extent in which diversity is occurring within the energy sector. The project is supported by the United States Department of Energy and seeks to Increase Energy Sector Economic Opportunity through Data-Driven Stakeholder Engagement of HBCU Faculty and Students. To support this project, the HBCU CEI is engaging HBCUs to raise the visibility and understanding of existing programs offered and resources available at these institutions in support of the U.S. energy workforce.
